4hSolutions customer and partner, A-Plant, has had a remarkable run of scooping industry awards for its revolutionary Auto Tool Hire Unit. Since the launch of the product in July 2010, which was developed in conjunction with 4hSolutions as its RFID technology partner, A-Plant has received a total of four awards in recognition of the Auto Hire Unit’s innovative properties, most recently being declared winner of the Rental IT Award at the European Rental Awards in Amsterdam.

A-Plant’s Auto Tool Hire Unit is an unmanned, fully automated unit which is designed to be located at customer sites to provide instant access to a range of tools and other equipment. Radically changing the way in which tools and equipment are ordered and managed on-site, the innovation has previously received the prestigious ERA accolade, won Best Product of the Year at the Hire Association Europe/Event Hire Association (HAE/EHA) Hire Awards of Excellence 2011, was a Product Winner at the Institute of Water National Innovation Awards 2011 and Product Winner at the Institute of Water Innovation Area Awards 2010.
